Get to Know Your Favourite Dentist

Dr. Markou received his dental training at the University of Toronto, graduating with honours in 1995 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.  He received numerous awards and scholarships during his time in dental school.  Dr. Markou continually improves his knowledge-base, spending considerable time taking continuing education courses with the top clinicians in dentistry.

After several years of associating in private practice, Dr. Markou opened his own practice, Humberland Dental, in the Oak Ridges area of Richmond Hill in 2004.  He enjoys serving and being a part of his surrounding community.

Dr. Markou spends his free time with his wife and two boys. He is an avid soccer player, continuing to play organized soccer at a high level year round.  And of course his sons are following his passion for soccer. He wouldn’t have it any other way!
